The Jog-a-Thon is a favorite Rancho Cañada tradition and our largest fundraiser. Students collect pledges before the event, then run or walk the course while enjoying music, a fun theme, and encouragement from families and friends. Funds raised support PTA programs such as STEAM Night, assemblies, the Hoedown, and more—all while promoting physical activity, school spirit, and community.

Get Your Free Jog-a-Thon T-Shirt!

Every student will receive a free Jog-a-Thon T-shirt to wear on the day of the event along with their class colors. Please submit your student’s name, teacher, and shirt size so we can make sure they receive a shirt that fits.

Families Are Welcome to Cheer!

Visitors should enter through the gate near the TLC portables and sign in. Visitors may remain on the field during the event. Only registered volunteers who have signed in at the Front Office may enter the school building.

Prizes

Personal Prize Levels

Raise $200: Receive a $20 gift card.
Raise $300: Receive a $30 gift card.
Raise $500: Receive a $50 gift card.

Each student will receive one gift card based on the highest fundraising level reached.

School-Wide Prize Levels

Rocket Fueled: At $25,000, the entire school earns extra recess with music.
Almost Orbit: At $50,000, Mrs. Fowler and Teachers vs. Students Kick Ball Game
Mission Accomplished: At $75,000, the school will receive a visit from the Screamin’ Ice Cream Bus during lunch.

Prize Deadline

All pledges and donations must be submitted through PledgeStar by 11:59 p.m. on October 16, 2026. Cash donations should also be entered online. Each donor will receive a thank-you email and tax-donation receipt.

We Need Volunteers!

Parent volunteers help us keep more of the money raised available for our students. We need help with setup, cleanup, student check-in, popsicle distribution, and other activities throughout the day.
