The Jog-a-Thon is a beloved Rancho Cañada tradition and our largest fundraiser that supports essential PTA programs like STEAM Night, Assemblies, the Hoedown and more! Students collect pledges or donations prior to them running or walking around a designated course. The event involves music, a fun theme, and a sense of community. It is also a fun and active way to raise money for our PTA school programs and activities while promoting physical activity and school spirit. Families are welcome to join us on the field, cheering on our Students! 

In respect of each family's time and effort, the PTA Jog-A-Thon is the ONE large fundraiser of the school year and we do not do any additional sales fundraisers. Through utilization of a large amount of parent volunteers, we use all funds raised for the students and avoid paying a third party for event coordination.

The top class in each grade level wins a movie and popcorn party!
Every student will receive a FREE Jurassic Jog-A-Thon T-shirt!

$25,000: The entire school will receive a Bonus Recess!

$200.00 Donations: Any student bringing in $200.00 or more in pledge donations will receive a $20.00 Target Gift Card!* $300.00 Donations: Any student bringing in $300.00 or more in pledge donations will receive a $30.00 Target Gift Card!* $500.00 Donations: Any student bringing in $500.00 or more in pledge donations will receive a $50.00 Target Gift Card!*

*Note: Prizes are cumulative up to the $100.00 prize and only one gift card is awarded per student at the level achieved.

All Pledges Must Be Received by October 18th
All pledges and donations must be received by 11:59 p.m. on October 18, 2025, on PledgeStar to count towards prizes. All cash collected should be entered online via PledgeStar. Each sponsor who donates will receive a thank you email along with a tax donation receipt.

The day of the Jog-a-thon students should come to school dressed in their Jurassic Jog-a-thon shirt!

Families are welcome to come cheer on their students!

All visitors will enter through the gate by the TLC portables and sign in. Visitors are allowed only on the field. Only volunteers who have signed in at the office will be allowed in the school building.
