Volunteer Interest 

Volunteering with the PTA is one of the best ways that parents can support the students and staff at our school. Please review the brief descriptions of each volunteer area and indicate your preliminary interests. Your contact information will then be forwarded to the PTA board member or committee chair that is organizing that activity and they will be in touch with you closer to the event date.

REQUIRED: Please print and complete the SVUSD Volunteer Forms and return to the school office.

Auditor
Reviews the books and financial records of a PTA to determine their accuracy 2x year. Presents written reports on financial reviews to the board for review and the association for adoption. Uploads copies of adopted financial reviews to Council

Fall Book Fair - After School Shopping Help
Help us make our Book Fair run smoothly after school! Volunteers may assist with cashiering, helping students calculate their totals and count their money, restocking and organizing books, and keeping the shopping area running smoothly. We will also need a door volunteer to help monitor the entrance. The door volunteer will make sure backpacks stay outside the Book Fair and that students are accompanied by an adult when making purchases. No experience is necessary—just a friendly attitude and a willingness to help our students have a great Book Fair experience!

Hoedown - May 13

Every Spring the blacktop comes alive with carnival games, food trucks, inflatables and fun! There are a lot of opportunities to help make this night of fun a success!

The Silent Auction Committee gathers donations from local companies, Create themed baskets for auction. Vendor Coordinators set up all our activity and food vendors for the evening. Child Supervision during PTA Meetings

We are looking for Junior High and High School volunteers to lead an organized game (all supplies provided by PTA) for the kids during our PTA Meetings. We are also in need of two non related adults to be in the room to sit and observe while the youth volunteers lead the activity. This is an hour commitment and is a great way to fulfill community service hours!
