The Rancho Cañada PTA invites all students to express themselves in the California State PTA Art Reflections Contest
The PTA Reflections art contest, a National PTA program, encourages students to create and submit original works of art inspired by a specific theme.This year's theme is "What My Culture Meants to Me" Students can participate in various art categories like visual art, literature, music composition, dance choreography, film production and photography. Entries are judged on how well they interpret the theme, creativity and technique. Artwork is due October 9th, 2026. School Gallery showing and awards given in March.

How to Enter your Artwork
Step 1: Reflect on the theme. This year's theme is, "What My Culture Meants to Me." Think about what that means to you.
Step 2: Choose your mode of expression! Visual Arts, Literature, Photography, Musical Composition, Dance Choreography, Film Production.
Step 3: Create your artwork! Express yourself with your chosen medium. Please see your category's rules for guidance by clicking on the circle icons above or on the CAPTA website here.
Step 4: Submit your entry HERE (Link coming soon). Entries are due electronically by October 9, 2026. Email an image of your artwork and the electronic entry form to reflections@ranchocanadapta.com.
